1. 1999 – The Beginning
SofTek Engineering, LLC was officially founded. Fueled by the vision of creating a unique, reliable valve diagnostic solution, the journey began to make this idea a reality.
2. 2000 – Prototype in Progress
Development of the Profiler prototype commenced, setting the foundation for what would become a revolutionary diagnostic tool in valve testing.
3. 2001 – Beta Testing Begins
To ensure the Profiler would meet the highest industry standards, SofTek launched rigorous beta testing. Feedback from these tests would help refine the system to deliver precision and reliability.
4. 2002 – First Profiler Sold
The hard work paid off with the sale of the first Profiler! This moment marked the beginning of SofTek’s impact on the valve diagnostic industry.
5. 2003 – Partnership with Flowserve
Flowserve Corporation standardized on the Profiler, solidifying SofTek's presence in the industry and validating its technological value.
6. 2004 – First Office Space
SofTek expanded from the founders' basement to its first office, a tangible step forward in the company's growth.
7. 2005 – Global Distribution
To reach international clients, SofTek established a distribution network across Asia, Central and South America, and Eastern Europe, setting the stage for a global footprint.
8. 2006 – U.K. Partnership
Signing a contract with Severn Unival brought the Profiler to the U.K., establishing SofTek as an international player in valve diagnostics.
9. 2007 – Hands-On Profiler Training
SofTek introduced a hands-on training program, empowering users with the skills to maximize the Profiler’s potential and make the most of its diagnostic capabilities.
10. 2008 – Masoneilan OEMs Profiler
Masoneilan agreed to OEM the Profiler, a significant endorsement and a big leap forward in SofTek's market presence.
11. 2009 – USB Data Acquisition and Foundation Fieldbus Communication
Transitioning from PCMCIA to USB for our data acquisition and Foundation Fieldbus communications increased the speed of our data collection, enhancing user experience.
12. 2010 – Sold Our 100th System
Selling the 100th Profiler system was a celebratory milestone that highlighted the system's growing adoption and reputation.
13. 2011 – Automated Seat Leak Box
Innovation continued with the development of an automated seat leak box, further enhancing the Profiler’s testing suite.
14. 2012 – Trevitest X Collaboration
Partnering with Furmanite, SofTek developed Trevitest X, extending the Profiler's capabilities to meet specific industry needs.
15. 2013 – Hydro Test Capabilities
The Profiler now offered hydro test capabilities, expanding its diagnostic applications and broadening its appeal to more users.
16. 2014 – 200th System Sold & First Visit to Finland
SofTek hit another significant milestone by selling its 200th system and conducting its first-ever sales visit to Finland.
17. 2015 – Partnership with Metso
A strategic contract with Metso marked another milestone, enhancing SofTek's credibility and widening its reach.
18. 2016 – New Headquarters
The company moved to new offices in Mapleton, Utah, marking a new era for SofTek with more space to support its growing team and operations.
19. 2017 – Overlay Functionality Added
The Profiler Test Suite gained an “as found and as left” overlay function, providing users with more detailed and comparative data.
20. 2018 – Side-by-Side Testing for Rexa
In response to client needs, SofTek developed side-by-side testing for Rexa, once again proving its commitment to innovation and customized solutions.
21. 2019 – Collaboration with Samson
New partnerships were forged with Samson, further extending SofTek's influence in the valve diagnostic field.
22. 2020 – COVID Challenges & Profiler SRV Introduction
Despite the challenges posed by COVID-19, SofTek persevered and launched the Profiler SRV, a system optimized for safety relief valve testing.
23. 2021 – First Profiler SRV Sold
The launch of the Profiler SRV was validated by its first sale, signaling its success and acceptance in the market.
24. 2022 – SIS Block Valve Package
SofTek introduced the SIS Block Valve Package, another valuable addition to the Profiler line that expanded its testing capabilities for safety-related applications.
25. 2023-2024 – 350th System & New Packages
SofTek celebrated its 350th sale, marking its continued growth. The introduction of the Profiler Midstream package and the MOV package further solidified its position as an industry leader.
